I think I found the perfect solution! http://tinyurl.com/5ozbwa At my local Best Buy I found a wireless Bluetooth microphone solution. It looks like a bluetooth adapter that you would use with a cell phone, but it has a USB Bluetooth adapter to plug into your computer. As soon as I set it up correctly I should be able to use it as a microphone, on Skype calls and also with my cell phone. The one I found is a Plantronics 920 with a range of 33 feet. I am hoping that it will help with sound clarity on uStream sessions. The price online is better I paid almost $100. I will be using it in the next few weeks, I will report back on how it is working! post a comment if you have other solutions.

Between baseball games this weekend I was in search of a wireless microphone solution for this summer when I hope to use uStream.tv during my presentations to capture mini-lessons about some of theweb 2.0 tools I will be introducing. I plan on test driving the bluetooth microphone this week, and I hope to report back with great news. The concept is an interesting one, I have a blue tooth adapter plugged into my computer and an earpiece that communicates with the adapter. I have a 33 foot range. Hope this works!
