I am reflecting on what a wonderful day I am having thinking, working in peace and digging into the projects piled on my desk. All in wonderful silence!

I was in a school yesterday working with the office staff on some technology skills and we were in a quiet conference room far away from the constant motion of the school office. As we reflected about how much we were able to get done in one day our conversation shifted to the constant noise, interruptions and shifting gears that fill most school days. This is true for almost everyone that works in our schools. I would love to be part of this conversation about what we could do to bring some “peace” to our schools. Do we really need a shrill bell every xx minute? How can we rethink our teaching and learning space to make our environments more conducive to thinking? What a great conversation for every staff!
